Where judgment begins

Information is everywhere. Judgment is not.

Technology has made real estate information more accessible than ever. Market reports, valuations, neighborhood statistics, and endless opinions are only a click away.

Yet information alone has never been the difficult part of an important decision.

The difficult part is understanding what matters, recognizing what doesn’t, and having the judgment to interpret competing priorities with confidence.

Real estate decisions shape more than financial outcomes –
They shape the life that follows.

Good decisions require more than data.
They require perspective, experience, and judgment.

My belief system

How do you know you're making the right decision when the outcome won't be known for years?

After two decades of helping individuals and families navigate significant real estate decisions, I’ve come to believe that the biggest challenges are rarely about property. They’re about uncertainty, competing priorities, and making decisions that still feel right years later.

MY JOURNEY

Twenty plus years of decisions. Hundreds of families. Countless lessons.

I entered real estate in 2006, just as the market was beginning to change. Since then, I’ve helped clients navigate one of the most volatile and instructive periods our industry has experienced—from rapid appreciation and the foreclosure crisis to record-low inventory, rising interest rates, and changing economic conditions.

Over the years, I’ve helped first-time buyers, growing families, retirees, investors, and individuals navigating life’s biggest transitions. Every decision carried different priorities, different risks, and a different definition of success.

Markets changed. Technology evolved. Contracts became more sophisticated. But the hardest part was never understanding the property—it was helping people make confident decisions when certainty wasn’t possible.

The lesson that never changed:
Strategy creates options. Judgment creates outcomes.

How I Think

The principles that guide every decision.

01

Clarity before action

The best decisions begin with understanding—not urgency.

Before discussing properties, pricing, or strategy, I focus on gaining clarity around your goals, priorities, and the life you’re trying to build.

Because clear direction creates better decisions.

02

Questions before suggestions

The right question often changes the decision more than the right answer.

Curiosity creates perspective.

Perspective creates confidence.

03

Strategy before tactics

Marketing.

Negotiation.

Timing.

Preparation.

None of these exist independently.

Every recommendation should support a larger strategy rather than become the strategy itself.

04

Long-term over immediate

Real estate decisions rarely end at closing.

The choices made today often influence financial flexibility, family opportunities, and future options for years to come.

I try to advise accordingly.

05

People before properties

Homes matter.

Investments matter.

Markets matter.

People matter more.

Every recommendation should support the life being built—not simply the transaction being completed.

The human side

Beyond the business

I’m a husband to Laura and proud father of two. My faith, family, and community are the foundation of everything I do.

I serve as Chair of the Salvation Army Roseville Advisory Board because life has come full circle. As a child, my family experienced the kindness and dignity of the Salvation Army. Today, I have the privilege of helping extend that same hope to others.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with my family, serving in the community, on a golf course, or enjoying time outdoors.

These aren’t just things I do. They shape how I lead, how I listen, and how I show up for the people I serve.

WHAT CLIENTS EXPERIENCE

More than a transaction. A better experience.

Clarity and confidence in every decision.

Straight forward guidance.

A trusted advisor who looks out for your best interests.

Clear communication from beginning to end.

Better outcomes that align with your goals.

LET'S START A CONVERSATION

Trust is built one conversation at a time.

Whether you’re preparing to buy, sell, invest, relocate, or simply exploring what’s next, every meaningful relationship begins with a conversation. I’d welcome the opportunity to learn what’s important to you and help you make your next decision with clarity and confidence.
